All AYSO training is done through the AYSO etrainu webpage. In this page you can find and complete all online training courses, as well as register for in-person classes.
Online training
This video shows how to find and enroll in any required online courses.
You must first login to your Region 7 account and then:
- Click on Volunteer on the left menu
- Click on the AYSOU button to the right of your name
- Click on Training Library on the left menu of the etrainu page
- Find the appropriate training and click VIEW COURSES
- Find the course you are looking for and click on ENROLL
Once you do that you can click START to begin the online course. All the courses you have enrolled in that are still in progress, can be accessed by clicking My Training on the left menu. You can stop a course at any time and resume it later. Once you completed a course, the corresponding certificate can be found by clicking on Skills Passport on the left menu. You can also click on Document Library, where you will find many useful resources, like coaching manuals for all levels, referee manuals, and other useful documents.
In-person training
Some volunteer roles (like coach and referee) require both online and in-person training. Note that for some of these classes, you cannot enroll for the in-person part until you have completed the companion online training course.
This video shows how to find in-person classes in your area and how to enroll. You must first login to your Region 7 account and then:
- Click on Volunteer on the left menu
- Click on the AYSOU button to the right of your name
- Click on Training Event on the left menu
- In order to access more training opportunities near you, you can clear the Region 7 value in the Region field.
- You can input your location and search for the course you are looking for.
- Find the event you want to attend in the calendar and click on it. A detailed description of the course will appear.
